Awesome product with a too strong perfume

I was first introduced to this product a dozen or so years ago at a Vidal Sasoon salon. It is/was the best conditioner ive ever tried on my long but baby fine hair. It exceeds expectations. A few years ago, however, Davines changed the scent grom a light, pleasant fragrance to the overdone grocery store product smell that most hair products sport. Disappointing they felt their products needed to smell overpowering and commonplace. I don't purchase as often as I'd like because of the strong scent. If strong perfumes don't bother you, though,I recommend!

Soft and manageable

This line of conditioners is perfect for damaged, dry and treated hair. I use the conditioner every other day and my hair stays soft and manageable.

I've been using this for several years...I have dry, fine hair (a lot of hair) and my hair just loves this stuff...also the shampoo.

Best conditioner yet

I have long hair which I’m attempting ti grow out even longer, so finding quality hair products is important to me. I’ve tried a lot of higher end conditioners from various brands and this is the one that I keep coming back to. I’ve just ordered what is probably my 4th tub if this stuff and it’s absolutely amazing. I’ve definitely noticed less hair breakage and my ends feel much dry over time. The consistency may be a little if the first time, but I found the if I work it up in my hands ti warm up the product it spreads pretty smoothly.

Excellent Product

Packaging needs investigating. This is the second time when the conditioner has arrived that the bottom of the container has been busted and the conditioner has been smeared on the other items in my order. This definitely needs to be corrected. This is not a cheap product.

Great product—beyond poor shipping

This conditioner is very good. It’s thick and moisturizing and you do not need to use too much of it to get great results. I have thick curly hair and it works well, but it might be too much if you have thinner or even straight hair. That’s the product, but I would not buy from this seller again. I read the reviews and saw that a lot of people received their product in a damaged container. I ordered anyway thinking I would be one of the lucky ones who would receive their product in tact, but that wasn’t the case. The container of conditioner was sent in a Manila envelope with nothing to protect it and it had a huge crack in it with some of the conditioner seeping out. I can still use it and only some of the product was unsalvageable. However, when I tried to get a replacement product I learned you have to ship back the old one first, which is a hassle I don’t feel like dealing with, especially during a pandemic. I think they do this because they know their product is often damaged during shipping and many people won’t feel like returning it to get a replacement. So, while I highly recommend the product, I would not recommend buying from this seller. They sell this conditioner in a lot of salons I’ve been to and that is where I will buy it in the future. This conditioner is expensive and I don’t know about you, but I expect to receive ALL of what I pay for, not just the undamaged portion.

My hair has never felt or looked better. Best hair care line I've ever used (and that includes Goldwell, Kerastase, Oribe, etc.). Bought the travel size of the shampoo and conditioner to try out. Have gotten 15+ uses out of this and still some to spare (I wash my hair one to two times a day). A little goes a long way, and I have hair past the middle of my back. Just committed the ordering the larger sizes (the price initially scared me, which is why I bought the travel sizes). YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, and I really do believe that with this product line. I am so glad that I decided to try this after reading all of the reviews. My hair is long, straight and oily but also dry and damaged on the ends from one-processing coloring every month, and this has literally transformed my hair. I have almost no knots, my hair is smooth and shiny, voluminous, and smells good. In just two weeks, my hair has looked better than it has since I had virgin hair. It actually feels like I have virgin hair again. So glad I tried this. I highly recommend buying the travel sizes first so you can do a fair try before you commit.

Great product, disappointing price.

This conditioner is great! Like the best I’ve ever used. Leaves my damaged color treated hair so so soft and manageable and it looks so healthy. The container sucks. Really wish they would change that because if your not super careful closing it in the shower it will dry out and harden. Its still usable at that point but harder to work with and distribute through hair. Another downside is the price. For the amount of product you get the price is too high in my opinion. If the product completely filled the container when new I’d be a little bit less bitter about the price but as you can see in the pictures the container is probably 1/3-1/2 empty space sealed and brand new. Not acceptable. I mean come on Davine’s you can do better than that for what we’re paying! I’d be pissed if I washed and conditioned daily but I wash and condition every 3 days or so and this container lasts me about 2 months at that rate. 1 star off for packaging and price but the product itself works miracles so if you have chemically damaged hair I highly recommend!

Contents not matching correct weight

I haven’t even tried the product yet- but it looked only half full. Measuring it on the scales even in the plastic pot, which shouldn’t be included, it was only 233g. I feel I’ve been short changed and there’s no clear way to complain about this on amazon. Disappointed and will not order from this distributor again

It's Okay

It's good but i'm not inclined to re-purchase. Sometimes it would make my hair difficult to blow dry leave almost a film like texture to my hair - then other times would leave my hair so soft once blow dried, perhaps was to do with the amount of time left on my hair. But a bad product, bit annoying having to open the lid etc in the shower.

Great product however the container was cracked

I love this product. It arrived today and the container that holds the conditioner was cracked. It is hard to tell if the conditioner was lost. I taped it together until I find another container to replace it. A bit more care is needed in the packaging and delivery

Avoid seller. Great product buy elsewhere

Do not buy from this seller. The product is great but I too received a half empty looking tub of conditioner. I think the seal broke and the conditioner dried out as it was really thick consistency. I emailed seller and was ignored. Product great. Buy elsewhere.

Amazing stuff

I've been using this conditioner now for a couple of years. It's made for long hair and is very effective at keeping split ends at bay and stopping breakage. The whole Davines range is excellent, but this is my favourite conditioner and while it might seem expensive, it last forever, as a small amount does the job.
