Great piece of dog retrieving equipment

This is our 3rd launcher purchased. One at each house. Bought for a black lab retrieving & exercise too. He knows where we keep them & kills us to play DAILY using it. Just not recommended for many tosses into water. Easy to clean off if muddy.

You Can Use These to Shoot A Line High In the Sky And Over Almost Anything.

I bought this to shoot a line over a huge Cottonwood limb which hangs over my shop 75 feet up. The tree is in a tight position between the power lines and my shop and I would have to get a crane and professionals in to take it down. I've ask the power company but they won't touch it. So I plan on shooting a line over the huge branch, which probably weighs a ton and would kill my nice new shop, and then pulling a cable up and looping it around the limb and then hiring someone to climb the tree and tie the cable off to the trunk. That way, when that huge branch breaks off, as cottonwoods are known to do, it should fall straight down and miss my shop. Anyway, I look forward to practicing perfecting my line shot and getting this done by spring.

Use brown or green 22 blanks with it

Works well. Does just what you'd expect. Yellow blanks are very strong for this launcher: Can launch just over 100 yds with a bunch of recoil, and very loud. I typically use brown (though sometimes they blooper... not sure if its a batch of bad blanks or a compatibility issue). Brown launch about 35 to 40 yds. My 8 yr old can handle the recoil of the brown, but yellow is too much for him. Green work really well but go about 50 to 60 yds

Dog loves it

Dog is afraid of fireworks so I decided to try this to see if he’d still be a hunter. He loves it! Simple design and it works! Using old 22 nailer blanks with no issues.

Works great for the dog

Works great for the dog. I might try a shoulder supported one if I bought one again in the future. It is OK to hold by hand but a little difficult and I hold it on my leg to launch it

Warning firing pin stuck on first shot

Well as you can tell the fog was excited to work, first shot was great until we found the firing Pin stuck stuck after the first shot . Little upset to spend this much on a launcher and have it not perform.
