Nice Flavoring on Burgers
I loaded the California Wine pellets into my Z Grill smoker. I smoked some burgers that I made with American Wagyu beef that was seasoned with Worchester sauce and minced Vidalia sweet onion, and they turned out delicious. Cooked them for about 35 minutes and then at the end seared both sides for 1 minute each at 400 degrees. I cooked the burgers medium rare with a nice pink center. The smoke flavoring on the burgers was subtle but very pleasant tasting and these pellets burn efficiently while giving out plenty of smoke. I'd definitely buy these pellets again.

The unique mild flavor which enhances to hardwood smoke is special. Just that little bit of uniqueness which separates them from the rest. Turkey hardwood and not a flavor added product ????????????????????????????????

Wood pellets
These pellets add great smoke flavor and last a very long time. I have done two different kinds of meat each for 5-6 hrs, and I still have enough to do that at least two more times.

Good hickory flavor. Worked well on ribs. Not sure I get any extra flavor from the red wine part.

Good pellets, a bit expensive
I’m a former chef who has been grilling over wood and/or charcoal for about 40 years. But I didn’t get into smoking meats until about 5 years ago when I purchased a pellet smoker. I’ve used about 4-5 different brands of pellets over that time. I’m quite familiar with Cuisinart kitchen equipment but did not know they made pellets and had never tried them until now. These pellets are comparable to the Traeger or Pit Boss pellets I usually use. They feed easily from the hopper to the burn chamber. They burn evenly and completely. They impart a nice, smokey, slightly fruity flavor. I used them to smoke some spareribs and chicken thighs. Then I cranked up the heat to grill some asparagus spears and slices of eggplant. I enjoyed the flavor. The main drawback is the price. They cost more than the blends I usually use.

These pellets burn clean and smoked several, wonderful briskets. I don't think the wood being infused with red wine parted much extra flavor, but it was still fantastic. No complaints whatsoever. These pellets are fantastic!

Slightly more expensive but good smoke flavor
A few years back I got the wife an electric smoker that could be fed chips through the side. We later decided to get some pellet tubes to do cold smokes and to add some additional smoke to our hot smokes as well. This pellet gives a nice smokey and slightly fruity flavor to the meats/veg/cheese/fish/etc you use it with. It is slightly more expensive than other brands we have used which is why I am putting it at four out of five stars as opposed to a full five star review.
