i bought this item years back (2018) and i loved it! it was my favorite hat that i've ever purchased (it was also the exact item as pictured) and when it started to show signs of its age i was happy to get the exact same item from the exact same vendor because it is difficult to find a good skullcap w/ brim. then this item arrived. it is a much thicker knit than the previous version causing hard seems and pointed corners (ick-- how stupid-looking). the hat is not as flexible and comfortable as the initial hat i received and the lipped edge at the bottom of the hat on the new one is easily a 1/2 inch more than the original (so fashionable..). i'm super disappointed. if you want a hat that is like the one pictured for this product, it seems you are too late as this product's quality seems to have left the building. this cheaply made terrible off-version of the item it used to be is not worth your money and it certainly won't be worth the hassle of the return process when you realize you inevitably cannot live with the low-quality dreck you get sent instead of the item pictured.

Not bad but BIG!

This hat is pretty large, goes down my husbands neck quite a way. He says it's warm but not that comfortable because it's so long. I washed it too and it didn't shrink.

Excellent beanie for those that need larger sizes.
