Just the right size
Lift unit required a specific size for manual operation in the event of power failure. Installer kept the socket and later closed his business. Lost power and could not operate the unit. Had to order the odd size (15/16") so that I could do manual control.

Fits Jeep TJ Transmission Drain and Fill plug bolts
In case my fellow jeepers are wondering, it fits Jeep TJ Wrangler AX-5 Transmission fill and drain plugs. My only complaint is about the stupid theft protection plastic. Don't understand why they gotta make them so hard. At least don't have it for online purchases.

Alright for what it is.
It's a socket. It's alright quality for what it is. Craftsman is just a name nowadays, a far cry from your grandpa's Craftsman tools. But for the weekend warrior type I'm sure it'll work just fine. I got this socket to keep in my tool box at work as an extra for convenience. I'm not a mechanic or anything like that where it'll see constant use so I expect it to work well for me.

Replacements for those pesky disappearing sockets
While a 1/2" SAE socket with 3/8" drive isn't quite as nefarious as its 10mm cohort when it comes to performing disappearing acts, it still happens on occasion. When one of these 1/2" sockets disappeared from my workbench socket set, I decided to tack it onto an amazon order. No real brand loyalty here, just knew it was going to be easier to add it to an existing order rather than trying to remember the need at the next trip to the local big box stores. I usually find the cost of sockets is a little higher online than its equivalent at the big box store but the $1 difference was an acceptable convenience cost for me.
