Arrived as advertised in just a few days.

I finally have a full set of screwdrivers for my electric drill, all in one place and easy to see through the clear plastic. Couldn't be happier! Now, just to keep other people out of it.

Ok, Drill bits issues.

I had a couple of bits break first time out of the box. I love the bit coupler that came with it, that itself is worth the price.

These are impact rated drills!

Its a Craftsman product and that means its high quality. Although it does not say on the package, these are impact rated drills. I just used them to drill holes through car metal door to install new speakers. The drills worked very well with an impact driver. I highly recommend them.

Have for years been a Craftsman loyalist

Starting with my great grand-father our family have been Craftsman loyalist for generations and were disappointed when Sears went bust and sold their iconic brand. Since that time I've continued the tradition and purchased a number of their tools and have not been disappointed. I'd buy it again.

Missing small sizes

The drill bits are fine, but there are not many small sized bits - may be OK for you. There is 1/16 & 1/8, but nothing in between. Since I need smaller sizes, I'm now looking for another drill bit set.

Shank made out of aluminum

These bits are rugged and pretty and I will probably own them and their nice case forever. On the other hand, why on earth would the only bits I have ever ever ever bought which NEED to be magnetic.....NOT be magnetic? I gave the bits a 5 anyway, on the theory that not everyone bought these to use in a right angle drill converter....which uses a magnet to retain the bit....

Works in a pinch

Using in a Black&Decker electric screwdriver I got on here for under $25 - works perfectly for small jobs! Used this kit for hanging some floating shelves in a new apartment and to modify a solid wood desk to accept cables/wiring. Would recommend!

What happened to the quality?

I’m not an expert but I have used Dewalt bits and drivers forever. I got a new compact driver for Christmas (Dewalt of course) and my old bits didn’t work in it so I thought I’d save a couple of bucks and get a Craftsman set. Within a few days I had broken a bit. Don’t know what size it was because there’s no type of identification markings anywhere. None on the bits that’s readable, none on the container either. Looks like a couple of bits are duplicated. Disappointed with Craftsman. I have all Craftsman tools (ratchet sets) and had always felt the name could be trusted. Gonna have to spend a few extra dollars anyway to replace this set of bits and guess whose stuff I won’t be getting... you get the picture.

Very Dissapointed, Failed on First Use

The media could not be loaded. The product description says "Drill through wood, plastic, or metal", I went to drill a small hole in a thin piece of metal maybe 2mm thick at most... Got about halfway through and the bit started smoking, see picture of melted useless bit. For the price I don't expect the toughest bits in the world but I was hoping it would last more than 5 seconds. Will be trying to get a refund for these, spend a little more and get better bits unless you are ONLY using for wood/plastic.

I am acontractor for VIMZ Construction, Toronto, Ontario, They can do certain tasks but you can feel the bits are struggling when higher torque is needed. I guess this set is ok for a home owner , but not for heavy duty purposes.
