Almost great
The media could not be loaded. I really want to love these scissors, especially because they're called Corona. The derringer style grip feels great, like an extension of your fingers. They let you cruise through trimming duties, when they don't stick shut. And it's not because the blades are sticky. The plastic casing binds and since there is no loop for your fingers on the top you can't just pull them open. I loosened the screw just a smidge, which helps, but only if the front half of the scissors would separate rather than the rear half. The photos show my solution, a small spring clamp, that surprisingly stayed out of my way. I'll see if I can modify them properly, because it's nice to have something different when you are spending days with scissors in your hands

Excellent for precise trimming
After a year of use, I can finally come back and say I love these lol. They’re gearing up for another growing season right now… They came wickedly sharp and still get the job done without damaging my plants. They’ve held their edge very well. The finger loop makes carrying them around very convenient too, so they quickly became my #1 tool for cutting off suckers and removing old leaves. Rather poor for cutting twine and whatnot, but they’ll get you by in a pinch. It’s much better to keep a knife handy for such things.

Great for my herb garden
I've only had them for two days, but I am happy with my purchase. I use them in my herb garden and they are perfect for that. Sharp and easy to clip small leaves. I have NOT had issues with the lock, but again I've only had them 2 days. I'll edit post if an issue arises.

Good Flower For Flower Trimming
Great pair of cutter for trimming up flower. The little hole for the finger makes it very easy to use. My suggestion is order two pair because they do tend to get sticky after a little. Just stick them in a cup of rubbing alcohol for a couple minutes and use the other pair and repeat

Will not trim sewing thread
I bought these because they look the same as thread snips for sewing and I really wanted the locking feature. They do feel sturdy and the lock works well. Unfortunately, they will not trim thread. The blades simply are not sharp enough. Disappointing, but also not what these were made for.
