cheaply made

The lock is cheaply made, you second guess if the door is locked or not.

good enough to get the job done

It is a 4-star product because it is cheaper than the typical knobs and levers, and the product reflects that. It works fine and looks decent, although the base plate is smaller in diameter than other knob sets, so there may be some paint fix to be done if replacing an existing knob. It is reversible, but it is not easy to do the reversing. It took me 5 minutes to do it, and I am very handy. I doubt any of my teen kids could have done it. Overall, a good knob set. Not great though.

These knobs look and feel superior. Great product from a solid company.

Perfect replacement. It's what I expected.

I like it looks great and most of all, it was a perfect replacement for the old round knob that was worn out and sliding around. The lever handle matches the other door we have. Installation was quite straightforward but I had to use a chisel to make the recess of the latch slightly deeper although it would have worked "as-the-door-mortise-was". I love it came with a plastic insert that guides the screws to the "other side" holes. Very happy and would buy again - yes, wife loves it.
