Different pieces fit differently -- but ultimately super warm

I was looking for a jacket that I could use for 3 seasons and I think this is definitely the winner! With both layers on the coat is toasty warm down into the 20s (haven't experienced weather colder than that). I am amazed at how warm the puffer alone is -- warm enough for low 40s weather IMO. Others have mentioned the fit and it's funny: The puffer jacket does have a snug fit, but the outer layer does NOT -- I find it to be a bit oversized. I feel like the puffer part of the jacket is a "small large" and the outer shell is a "large large", if that makes sense. This is sort of odd because the coat feels snug but looks baggy when wearing both pieces. That said, wearing both pieces together doesn't *look* bad. Also, I wish it had a petite cut! The sleeves are way too long on my frame -- I'm 5'1. Because I bought this jacket to be worn in multiple seasons, it's getting 5 stars. I wouldn't consider it the perfect jacket, but it was exactly what I needed.

Fits and looks great

Fits great and love the color. Wore on skiing trip and was very pleased. Warm and comfortable.

the fit

Although the fit was good , I definitely did not like the different colored zipper on the top front . It cheapen the looks of the jacket and almost made me decide not to buy the jacket. The same color of the jacket for Rosie Run -Nocturnal blue would have been better and not so loud,. I kept the jacket from Columbia but it might not get worn as much because of that. But it 's to bad that the company did that.

Great functional and pretty coat

This coat is well-made with a lot of ski/snowboard gear functionality. The separate puffer and outer shell allow for easy adjustments depending on weather conditions. There are several easily accessible zippered pockets.

Superior product

Very stylish multi-purpose jacket. I can wear the outer shell as a rain jacket or a light weight fall jacket. The inner layer can also be worn alone in cooler temperatures. When combined it forms the ultimate winter outerwear for extremely cold conditions. All while being very lightweight. I’m extremely impressed and highly recommend this jacket.

So far so good!

Sleeves of liner are a lot roomier than my previous Whirlibird which is possibly 10-15 years old. Warm and practical with the zip-out liner. I bought an extra large to have ample room for sweatshirts or a sweater although I usually wear a large since I don't like a tight fit.

Beautiful and Bright!!

The jacket is excellent! I have now worn it every way and in the snow. Waterproofing seemed to hold up after an hour outside with snowfall and I was quite warm. I usually wear a medium in Columbia but went with a large in this for layering. The shell is a little more roomy than I would normally like but the internal puffer fits perfectly so I would recommend going a little bigger unless you want a snug fit. I was also expecting the internal jacket to be a pinky salmon colour but it’s hot coral…which I love!

Received without inner jacket having the silver lining. Returned!

Received the product without the inner jacket mentioned in the description, which is supposed to have the thermal-reflective lining. Amazon couldn't help with getting the part separately so they suggested return as the only option. I wanted to keep the jacket (last piece in the size and color) so contacted the Seller. Columbia Customer Care said that I will need to buy it separately which does not make sense because the product pictures clearly show the inner side of the jacket in silver and the description mentions the 3-point interchange system. Returning now! Found a recent review mentioning the same issue, so it looks like a recurring problem.

Fits true to size

Having the zipper lining jacket makes the jacket useful for all seasons. Good pick for everyday casual wear. Warm and comfortable ????

Beautiful but Made small

I am 5ft 4 and weight 140. All my jackets are size small and so I decided to buy a small. It fits nice at my chest but tight at the hips. I can’t fit snow pants underneath so I decided to return it and get a size Medium. We will see how that one fits! Besides that it’s a gorgeous pattern and colours I love it!

Great jacket!

I was surprised at how lovely the colour was. The jacket is warm. For those of you who are "warm" skiers or boarders, you might find it a bit warm. However, unzipping the outer jacket a bit while riding works well along with the pit zips. I'd recommend this jacket.
