Good shoe.

I broke my ankle and have now graduated back into a regular shoe. My orthopedic surgeon wanted me in a hiking shoe or boot for ankle support as a transitional shoe. I am happy with the purchase. However, I did have to purchase inserts for arch support, which is why I gave a rating of 4 stars instead of 5.

Amazing hiking shoes!

These are my first pair of hiking shoes I've ever bought and I used them today and I am very impressed! Not only did they fit my slim and longer feet perfectly and didn't look or feel bulky, they didn't rub and the grip was amazing! It was impossible for me to fall! Some of the best $70 I've spent in a long time, thanks Columbia!

Wore Them Once

I really like these, they fit me well and were comfortable - the one time I wore them. Went to put them on this morning and the top metal rivet hook was gone. So disappointing. My return date has passed. I called the manufacturer. They are under warranty. I have to send them in for repair. If can’t be repaired will replace or refund. While this is good news, but what a PIA. Okay, 2 weeks later, never received email. Called again today, they couldn’t find my information, transferred to Warranty Dept., message says “we are closed for a company meeting, please call back” SERIOUSLY WTH Avoid this kind of mess and DO NOT ORDER.

Super comfy but rubbed ankles.

These were great but they rubbed my ankles and my upper heal real bad. I got my full return and ordered the facet 60 low. They cut better around my ankle. These would be great for anyone who doesn’t have a hard time with a high top shoe.

Durability is an issue

Fits well and survives rain. Not sure about puddles yet. Comfortable. Unfortunately, in less than 6 months, a plastic piece that secures the lace already broke off and some parts of the bottom sole are also starting to wear out. I don’t even wear these shoes everyday and haven’t started hiking with them. I was sent a replacement pair recently. Will see if the same happens to the new pair.
