Good jacket but they gave me the wrong size. It was my husband's birthday ????.He likes Columbia jacket. I bought a Medium size but got the Large one.

Warm jacket!

The delivery of my jacket coincided with the 8F temps that hit us the past week. Timing couldn’t have been better. I will say this isn’t a jacket that’s huge on styling. If you want to appear at the soirée with the latest in taste and sophistication, you may as well not get this one and spend 4x. But if you want to stay warm on a budget, this jacket is excellent! ????

Best 3-in-1 winter jacket I've ever bought.

So, up front, the one thing I miss is a removable hood. But the features on this jacket make that negligible. Not having a "soft" lining, I was worried I'd want to wear a long sleeve fleece shirt or something under this to avoid either that "sticky from sweating" or "cold from the jacket sitting in my car until I put it on" experiences I've had with other jackets, even from Columbia. I haven't had those issues. The vents under the arms keep me from over-heating and even though I'm used to more pockets in my Columbia jackets, these are spacious enough that I don't need more. I bought a bigger size than I thought I absolutely needed because I didn't want to measure and guess what I might wear under it (If I'd need a sweatshirt for more warmth or a fleece for a softer or more absorbent feel) but that wasn't necessary. Not disappointed with some extra length but their sizes seem accurate.

Great jacket

The jacket is quite warm even on a very cold day (-24C). Like the velcro cuff so you can keep out snow when skiing and hood when walking on a cold day. The upper pocket is a good size for sunglasses and even a spare touque. Side pockets can hold gloves no problem. Length is good too. I can understand other reviewers concerns about the zipper, but I think it will be fine.

Awesome jacket

This is a great jacket. The heat dots in the inner layer keep you nice and warm while the outer layer is great at stopping the wind. Both layers work great individually as well. Only downside is the stitching of the inner liner of the outer coat ripped already so I’m not impressed with that. Otherwise solid 4/5

New to me.....

Purchased this jacket a size larger than I usually take, and I'm glad. This jacket replaces another 3-1 jacket from Columbia that I had for 30 years (the zipper broke). What advancements in materials makes this toasty warm. Not to sure on the Velcro at the zipper (old one had snaps, easier to zip up and down), but that the only qualm. Don't hesitate to buy a Columbia jacket, quality, thoughtful design. Here's to hoping this one will last another 30 years.

Pas très chaud

Je pensais avoir trouvé un manteau chaud pour l’hiver mais après avoir pris une marche de 30 minutes a une température seulement de 2 degrés j’avais les bras et les épaules complètement froid, alors je n’imagine même pas l’hiver à moins 15, alors j’ai retourné l’article, bref probablement un excellent manteau pour l’automne mais mais pour l’hiver Québécois !

Great Jacket. But

I really like this jacket. I would give it 5 stars but the zipper is cheep. Columbia you can do better. You make a great product then cheep-out on the zipper. I had to return the first one I received because the zipper broke the forth time I used it. The replacement is working fine but now I am concerned about how long it will last. I would recommend this product but beware of the zipper.
