like the old duofold

i've been looking for these for more than five years. they stopped making the 40% wool duofold long underwear years ago and reduced the wool content to 25%. then stopped making those too. these are soft and warm and are perfect for those who want to stay warm and not wear plastic clothes.

Great fabric blend

I like the material blend of this product, being wool and cotton. This will not have much effect on dry time, but it will help the garmet to retain more warmth if it gets wet or damp and will be warmer overall than plain cotton. Also you can wear it a little longer before it starts to smell ;-) I believe the color is advertised as "oatmeal" which was cool for me. I just wish they had a pure white option. Also, the fit is good overall, maybe a teeny bit large and the length is definitely more than usual. I think they do this so you can tuck the shirt deep into your pants and get some more coziness over your hips. This made me feel a little funny walking around if the shirt was not tucked in though. This is not enough of a problem for me to deduct a star, it's a great product overall and I'm happy I found it.

Wool is what you want...

I purchased this as I was in need of a thermal top for hunting. I had always been comfortable with just bottoms, but as of the last few years I've had to double and triple my layers of clothing on my upper half. Well I was pleasantly surprised (not that I should have been after reading the positive reviews, and confirming through ColdPrufs website that Wool Plus was what I wanted for my level of activity) when I wore it the first time and I was so very comfortable to just be sitting outside in the chilly temps. When you are tree stand hunting and sitting still is important, you can get cold easily if you don't layer - even in mild temps. The honest truth is that it made me realize how awful my old thermal bottoms were as now that my top was comfortably warm, my legs now felt cold. Looks like I'll be buying some new bottoms too!

ive been duped. :p

Though very warm and effective in the cold i was lead to believe i would have a beautiful, fit body wearing this article of clothing. Im only kidding truely, the fit is a bit baggier than the picture suggests. maybe order a size down, but the clothing itself does exactly as advertised.

Read the wool content of both layers carefully.

I thought the outer layer was 100% wool and the inside layer 100% cotton. Returned for refund. It has been 11 days and no refund noted at my bank.

Great price

This is a great price and great for layering under clothing. I spent a lot more on a name brand top but when I found this I returned the other. My son is very happy with this top and says it has kept him warm on chilly days.

See my review on the matching bottoms. In a nut shell though they held up outdoors in Chicago on January 30-31 when the air temp was -30°.
