The Cutest Plant Stand Ever!!!

Okay...I saw this stand and really liked it but was hesitant after reading the reviews. It seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, especially the height of it. I knew going in that it was a wire stand that was on the light side, but that didn't bother me as I was planning on using it indoors in the den. There were reviews saying that the rubber tips were missing, and that was my only worry. But I received the planter, with the bottom legs and tips securely packaged with plastic and rubber bands so there was no problem! This stand is so cute I cannot stop looking at it! It also takes up just about zero space! The only problem I had was that the coating on one of the handles was peeled all the way off where you could see the metal part, and I am surprised they didn't catch that in shipping after so carefully wrapping the legs. But good ol Amazon saved the day! I didn't want to send it back because of the huge box it was in, (plus I really like it) and when I told Amazon customer service the issue, they were fantastic in coming up with a solution that I was happy with! So I will just wrap electrical tape around it and no one will even notice! Later on I'm going to copy what another customer did and wrap the handles in rope. I will add photo's to this post. Also, with the plant in the stand, it is real sturdy. P.S. I'm getting another one for my bedroom!

Looks Great! But unsteady.

The stand looks great holding up my vining pothos plant! There are not that many tall plant stands so I’m so glad I found one! Unfortunately the stand is not as sturdy as I’d hope and it could easily be knocked over. I think the legs need to be angled more outward to be sturdier. So if you have small children who hold on to furniture or pets that climb/pull on things or rambunctious household members maybe skip this stand to be on the safe side.

it had all the plastic tips on the legs

They've found a way to make sure those are on when they arrive so they are paying attention to the comments. But it's very wobbly; I'm trying to spread the legs some, hoping that will help stabilize it at least a little bit. I'd wanted to put a larger plant in it; circumference was correct but it's too flimsy to take the weight. So a smaller plant is in it even tho' I had a place already for that plant. I'd bought one of these years ago at Wal-Mart or K-Mart; much sturdier; sorry that it's quality has gone downhill. By the way, it arrived in a 5 foot tall box that was also bigger around than it was; surprised it wasn't battered to death in the travel with that huge box. Then I had to deal with all that cardboard. Sloppy packaging, wasteful!

Just what I wanted

This plant stand is what I wanted and ordered. It's replacing one I've had for years. The old one was sturdier and a lot less money. The last two wind storms we've had knocked the plant and stand over. I'm trying to think of something that will weight it down.

Check for the floor protectors

Very disapointed. 2 of the 3 floor protectors are not there despite being covered with plastic and rubberbands. Will have to go find something to protect my floors from the sharp pointed legs.

Not very sturdy

Metal is not thick and cannot put a heavy plant on it. Legs need be heavier metal and placed wider for it to be sturdier.

Plant stands should be about the plant, not the stand!

Light, sturdy, classic design, perfect for large potted plants. Easy to move as seasonal conditions change. Perfect stand height for plants to get light in sunny windows, and they look great on a porch or terrace. They look great in pairs or in clusters too! The thin spidery legs are super strong and perfectly balanced so plants almost seem to float! I’m very happy with mine!
