I bought my first one at Walmart and absolutely loved it! Went back for another at Walmart, but they had none. Felt so fortunate to find it on Amazon. Think this is my favorite brand now

It's a little to early to really review this, i've only had this for just over a month, and used twice. But, it's a nice smaller size, quality seems apparent, and it's WAY brighter than my last one. I just want it to last! I hope it will! Good luck!

Another great light from Coast. It's worth paying a little more for their products than something generic with inflated specifications. But there's no reason to pay more for another brand. This is a great little light.

We have many flashlights around the house, especially useful during storm power outages. This may be small but is pretty bright. Like the compact size, good to keep in your purse or ca’s glovebox.

This Coast flashlight is 5” long and has a hard/tough plastic exterior. For some reason, I was thinking it would be more of a hard rubber, but it isn’t. If you remove the tailpiece and look down the battery tube, you can see that the main cylinder is made of welded seam tubing that’s been overmolded with the plastic exterior. In general, I’m not that crazy about the looks, but I do hope it pays off in ruggedness. I also like the function. For my needs, it has good light output. I also was surprised by and really like the wide flood beam. In that mode, the beam is wide and pretty much uniformly lit, except for a few inches at the outer edge. Pointing at a wall, I was able to get an 8ft diameter flood beam (i.e. from my floor to ceiling) while holding the flashlight at a distance of about 5ft from the wall. I also uploaded a pic that gives a visual of the flood beam angle. In the high setting, the beam is bright enough that I don’t see myself using the more concentrated spot beam much. The only thing I’m not that crazy about is how the high/med/low is set up. It has a momentary switch function that’s activated by half pressing the power button. The problem is you can’t really pulse the light on and off. Each time you pulse it back on, it will cycle through the intensity settings, so the second pulse will be med; the third pulse will be low; the fourth pulse will be high again and so forth. This is, unless your off time is more than 5 seconds, which resets it to high. That issue aside, overall, I’m pretty happy with this item. I hope this review was helpful.
