Tassels Don't Lie Flat

If you look at the picture for this product on Amazon, you'll notice that on the black version, the tassels look like they are sticking up in the air a bit. I assumed that was just an issue with the pair in the photo, but when mine arrived, that seems to be an issue with the black version in general. I have the same shoes in brown and have never had an issue with the tassels, but the black tassels seem to be a bit more stiff than the brown version, and haven't really worn down yet. It is for this reason that I'm giving them four stars rather than five. Otherwise, I have no complaints about them, they are very comfortable, and I love the color, style, and structure of the shoe. Worth the money...even with the annoying tassels. :)

Not the best fit, but good quality.

I usually wear size 7 to 8 depending on store brand. I've ordered 7.5 wide as most of my shoes run size 7 to 7.5. When I tried these on - the left shoe fit well, however the right shoe was a little looser and kept slipping off a little. I had thick socks on too. Overall, the shoe does seem good quality. I might need to re-order a smaller size of a 7. Walmart shoes fit me with size 8. Other shoes I get a TJMaxx fit at size 7 or 7.5. I like these shoes, but need a size adjustment.

Wear Blk shoes for 4 hours with thick socks, and it'll fit fine!

I have the exact shoe in a size 7, two tone brown and they fit perfectly. I ordered another 7, but black and it was too large. I returned and got a 6.5. As soon as I put it on, I felt like it was too small. So, I wore a thick pair of socks with it for about 4 hours, and that seemed to stretch them out just enough to fit perfectly. So, for the black pair, order and 1/2 size smaller and stretch it out as stated above. Nice shoes. You can't go wrong with Clarks.

Very Nice

Bought these for my 11 year old for school, she likes them very much as they are quite comfortable, watching to see how they will hold up to the everyday wear. Will update my review in a few months.

Perfect all around shoe

Got these to replace a pair of similar shoes. They were mainly for traveling and stayed comfortable throughout the trip, including walking. Color and look was prefect. The tassel on one shoe keeps turning up and looks silly. Can't get it to stay down, so I gave them 4 stars

XW fits a wide foot

I have very wide feet. I ordered my usual shoe size in XW. They fit comfortably. It would be great if they were a bit wider but they don't seem like they will rub or be uncomfortable to wear. They look very nice and they feel like they have some substance to them. In trying to find a pair of business casual shoes for wide feet many of the shoes I tried felt very cheap with thin materials, these feel like they are a better quality.

These shoes are very comfortable, I was able to wear them all day with the first wearing. True to size and no complaints at all. Would highly recomend them.

Needs Insole Liner

These are great leather shoes for the money; but I needed to add some insole liners to cushion my feet since the shoe bottoms inside are hard and somewhat flat.

Quite Comfortable

I had these shoes a little over a month now and am quite pleased with the product. It is my first Clarks purchase and I have given 4 stars only because I found the vamps a bit snug across the top of the foot, the left moreso than the right. I clipped the tiny elastics in the corners and stretched the leather vamp straps a bit. I also removed the insoles so I could use my Superfeet insoles. Theirs' pulled right out as they are just glued in a couple of spots, which I was pleased about if I ever want to put them back in. I bought these to have an everyday shoe for around the house and am not disappointed in the quality, the fit, the stylish appearance, and, overall comfort. I would buy these again as long as the shoe isn't altered from its present manufacturing process.

Great Quality Shoe

I was hesitant to order shoes on line but I’ve always had good luck with Clark’s in the past so I went for it and I’m glad I did. I have a larger bunion on my right foot complete with a hammer toe and a bunionette. On my left foot just a small bunion. So normal width is ok for my left foot but I need XX WIDE for my right. I ordered these as the price was right and they are Clark’s and they come in X Wide. My left foot slid right in and it was a perfect fit. I had ordered 1/2 size up as an extra effort for a better fit so the left shoe will need a little heel pad to stop my heel from slipping out but that’s not a big deal. The moment of truth—right foot. I was amazed that I could not only get my foot in but it was almost perfect. As they are leather I can stretch the right shoe and it will be perfect. Thank you Clark’s for having X wide widths and half sizes. I finally have shoes that won’t leave me crippled and in pain! I’m going to buy more Clark’s shoes! Also thanks Amazon for next day delivery. It always blows me away!
