Leans forward

It leans a bit too forward for true comfort. Nothing I do will make the seat relax towards the rear. Otherwise, it's very nice looking and sturdy.

Pretty chair but not made for heavy use

I purchased this for my husband's home office to replace a previous parsons chair that he wore out. The navy color is very pretty - a true navy blue. The chair itself is good looking and very easy to assemble. Assembly took me 10 minutes by myself. The chair is quite comfortable as well, but it could use a little more lumbar support, which was an easy fix with a small pillow added. My husband is a bigger guy - 6'1" and around 215 pounds. After a few weeks of heavy use, the chair has developed a fairly loud squeak anytime he shifts his weight while sitting. I nearly eliminated the squeak with some silicone spray. Now, the chair cushion is starting to flatten out and become misshapen on the bottom, cushion corners where your legs would rest. Basically, you get what you pay for. This is a great chair if you don't plan on using it a lot. But, if you are planning to sit in it several hours a day, 3 days per week, I think you need something sturdier, that will withstand heavy use.

Beautiful and Comfy

I've had this chair in my office for 3 months so far and it's very comfortable. The deep blue color is beautiful. I think it's a great value for the price. I haven't had any issues of the fabric wearing like some of the other reviews have said, it still looks brand new and I use it for hours 5 days a week.

Overall great chair

This chair is stylish and comfortable. My only issue is that it makes a noise when you sit or adjust your position.

Nice but not comfortable

Don’t expect comfort. It’s very stiff and not deep enough for a desk chair. I typically rather use my kitchen dining chair because this chair isn’t that great. It looks great but just tilts like your slipping off and it’s stiff.

Nice Style, but Small in Stature

The size (scale) of the chair is for a small desk or old time secretary desk like my grandmother had. The style of the chair is exactly what I was looking for but the scale of the chair looks 'dinky' next to our average size home desk in an average size room. Prior to ordering the chair, I read all the reviews but it never crossed my mind to look at the dimensions of the chair and compare it to the office chair we had. If I was using this chair everyday, I don't think it would be very durable over time. Comfort of the chair is below average.

Exactly as pictured

The chair arrived on time and it was very easy to assemble. I wish the seating was a little bit wider. The cushion isn’t uncomfortable but it could be more padded. All in all- great chair for the price.
