A little on the small size, but looks and works great!

Nice quality and design. The straps do stretch out a little with wear, but due to the nature of the clear elastic I’m not surprised by that. There is plenty of room to tighten them up. I originally ordered the 7-8 size for my size 8 ready-to-wear daughter and it was too small. I sent it back in exchange for the 10 and that fit much better. Overall, this is the best nude leotard (which she wears under costumes) that we’ve ever purchased, and I’ll likely continue to buy these in larger sizes as needed!

Basic and useful

I also bought a women's size xs to compare to the child size large. The child size large fit my tall athletic 9 year old better than the women's since the legs are cut lower on the child's version and the torso seems to come up higher on the bust (the women's was low cut at bust). My only issue is that although you can place the clear straps in several ways, the actual straps are hard to adjust in length. This leotard is a bit wider in width than the women's version, so if you have a skinny child, there might be excess fabric and it will not look sleek. The color of this was light enough for my pale skinned child.

In a pinch, I ordered this as the leo for my daughter to wear under her costume in a ballet show. The normal undergarments we purchased I had waited to long to order a bigger size and receive them in time. This proved to be an excellent stand-in. It fit true to size and provided excellent coverage by not being too thin or have too much fabric to bunch up and wrinkle under her costume pieces. She said it was extremely comfortable and requested to switch to this brand instead of our usual ones once she had given this a try.

but is perfect to wear under dance costumes

This leotard is only for use as an undergarment, it does not provide a lot of support or coverage, but is perfect to wear under dance costumes. I ordered this leotard in a L for my 11 year old (80 lbs). I also ordered the Womens version in an XS. The Child's L ended up being larger than the Women's XS.

good for dancers

fit well though had to tighten straps fully to pull the camisole up to fully cover chest....straps slowly loosen as time goes on but last for hours before we have to re-tighten. soft and comfortable. 10 year old wore this under her costumes for dance competition and fit well.

This served as a perfect liner to recital leotards and protected my daughter's modesty when changing backstage. Clear straps are adjustable and have several options for placement to ensure they are hidden as much as possible under recital leotard. Price is very reasonable, and we will get a lot of use out of this!

Small fit order up a size

Bought for my 11 year old 59.5 inch tall daughter. The large fits exactly but if she grows any taller the leotard will be small. She is also quite thin. Knowing the fit I would have probably ordered the xl if I wasn't tight on time. Straps are adjustable: both length and location so you can crisscross them if you like

Good product for quick, modest costume changes

These are great for quick changes at performances. Received one package opened and stuffed back in, which I wasn't thrilled about. Comes with one set of straps - clear - that can't be seen from stage. You can adjust the straps based on the type of costume. Good product that enables quick, modest changes.
