Needs Some Work
Mine Wasnt the one in the picture, It Has a Black Paper Dial.. As it came it was useless. Hardly Moved and Inconsistent. The Paper Dial far out of level. I pulled the clear plastic straight up and off. I put some metal polish on a qtip and went at the metal cup that rides on the needle tip. Cleaned it up Well then took a pencil to the cup, the graphite works as a dry lube. Then i put a few drops of ca glue on the dial and got it balanced nicely. Finally i took a rare earth magnet and swiped it across the N Pointer a few times. I put it back together and now i have a compass that works wonderfully i would put it up against any other compass. On the under side of the dial i can move my pointer to adjust for declination. I Love it!

Plastic junk
This is cheap plastic junk. I expect it to break/fail in about 2 weeks. I'm going to buy a better one with a metal case.

Got out of a forest with this one
Accurate, able to find my way out of the forest south west from my home, when the price comes down again I'll buy a few more to give as gifts and a backup for myself

Plastic. Almost worth what you pay for it.
Think plastic with zero of the features you would normally expect from a good one. It makes a good toy for those not near teen aged.
