Same quality as vintage case

This box is made as the same quality as the vintage version from the 80s/90s. The plastic does NOT smell or have any funky smells for that matter. The color advertised is true to the picture with beautiful sparkles! The inside mini tray lifts out and fits properly. The outside handle is well secured and lastly, the latch outside the box works great. Definitely worth every penny! I wish I was able to find more colors as it's not available, but I'm glad I was able to purchase this one. One more note, this box is very easy to clean up. I had dropped some on my box as I currently use this to store my acrylic paints. Thankfully, this is good quality plastic and cleans up with soap and water. If it's really stubborn, a little rubbing alcohol or a baking soda solution will clean it up nicely. This is a sturdy plastic. ????

Take me back!

This took me back a ways! I keep seeing cloth/fabric makeup organizers and wondered if caboodles were still a thing. Surprise, surprise! They are and I am so happy I found! I don't use much makeup but like my items organized. This is perfect for that. A few makeup items, chapstick, moisturizer, and a few nail polish bottles and whaa-lah! Very happy with this purchase. I've had for a bit now and everything is still intact and working great.

Always in style!

I remember getting my first Caboodle like it was yesterday, I think it’s almost a right of passage for a girl to get a Caboodle. They are just so cute and perfect for holding everything a girl coming of age all the way through college could need, heck should there really be an end date on when we can use Caboodles? They are always appropriate in my opinion, and im 40! I just bought my niece her very first caboodle and she was sooo excited to put all her stuff into it and have something that was her very own, never forget the classics!

13 yr old granddaughter loves to keep her lip balms, lotions, makeup. Fits on dresser and easily can take anywhere. Keeps everything organized.

I like everything about it except I wish I had a different color. Unfortunately I was limited on the shade of pink I could have.

Not perfect, but usable

Cons: • Lots of excess plastic on pieces making it appear cheap (probably is) • Minor scuffing and scratches on the outside • The mirror is not centered and is popped outward (difficult to get a picture) causing it not to be able to fit larger objects (mac lipstick) in the uppermost tray • the lid/mirror for the top compartment doesn't close all they way (very slanted and lifted on the left side) Pros: • Mine came without any plastic packaging and I did not encounter a foul smell like other reviews mentioned (perhaps they air these out now which could explain the scuffing) • I ordered the peach and teal color and received one that matches the photo (other reviews for other colors are not as lucky) • Overall size is impressive and can fit a lot of makeup • lock and handle appear to be sturdy Overall it's not perfect, youre not going to be getting a flawless product. However it makes up for it in functionality and it looks pretty cute too. If they lowered the price to $10 or $15 it would be more inline with its value. I bought this to transport makeup on my next flight - I will update with how it did.

Sinks like chemicals

This caboodles case was so great for my daughter, she just started collecting makeup and its the perfect size for all of her things, however, the plastic chemical smell is over baring, we needed to put it outside for a few days to let the smell air out, but still it lingers and now all of her products smell. We are able to get over the scent and it is a great product.

Safety first!!

This was bought as a sanitation station for school. My daughter has it at her desk at school, covid means we need to be vigilant with hand hygiene and masks, this allows her to do that, storage for spare masks, hand sanitize, cleaning wipes, plus a mirror to help with mask application. The hard surface makes keeping the kit clean as well.

Girls 7 & 10 love them! Contains the makeup mess!

Bought as a gift for my niece and she loves it!! Ours came in great condition, none of the marks that other buyers r mentioning. I later ordered my daughter a purple and green one and it is good as well. The girls love them and happily packed with all of their makeup. Nice to keep it all in one place vs all over the house. They leave them sitting on a low dresser so I can’t say how sturdy it is to haul around full all the time but works well for organizing and containment!

Nice, but...

Well made, sturdy, glass mirror, made in the US.... This caboodle has a long list of qualities, but it also has one big default. It STINKS. It's not so bad when it's closed, but on the inside, the box has a really strong smell of plastic. It's not a pleasant smell at all. I'm hoping it'll fade over time, but yeah. Yikes.
