SLIM BUT EFFECTIVE
This backpack is exactly as is intended to: A slim, professional ,not bulky back pack, but still nice looking and capable of carry more than enough items to travel and airplane accommodation under your front seat. Termination is first class and hope to use it for many years to come without major issues. Product well elaborated and professional look.

Professional, Slim, Not Bulky with Unnecessary Clutter
I moved from more of a briefcase bag to this backpack. I don't like using a backpack that looks like I'm about to go for a hike. Instead I need something that is professional that I can carry into any meeting space. The two photos tell the story. When closed up, it is not bulky at all. The bag maintains its lines. In the main compartment, I store a 15" laptop, an umbrella, sunglasses, power chargers, small notebook, and a mini-bag with all of the various video adapters for my laptop. The little "speed thru" pocket up top is perfect when running through the airport. Just throw your keys and cell phone in there. Only drawback for this bag, no outer compartment for a wet umbrella/water bottle. The straps are very comfortable, I'm normally walking 8 blocks to the subway with it. Now that I've transitioned to a backpack, I'll never go back to a briefcase. Fantastic bag!!

Not the value I expect
I am a Briggs and Riley repeat customer and was quite disappointed in this product. Having several of their larger and small luggage pieces I thought I would add to my collection. I needed a small to medium backpack for my travels so I selected this model. I also ordered a Travelpro 6 Luggage Platinum Elite 17.5" Business Computer Backpack at the same time. Both arrived at the same time. I was very excited to get this piece and once I opened the box i was immediately disappointed. It looked like any other backpack and didn't have the standout appeal I was use to with B&R. I also would not say this is a slim profile pack. It tapers from the top to bottom. When compared to my large backpacks it's the same size. I put this next to the Travelpro 6 Luggage Platinum Elite 17.5" Business Computer Backpack the value does not compare. T.P. has a lot more leather trim and is more secure on stress points with leather instead of nylon. I will always be a Briggs and Riley customer but this one is going back. Price point is to high for product.

Outstanding B&E Slim Backpack!
I am a big fan of Briggs & Riley. I have their large hardshell suitcase, briefcase and large leather backpack. I wanted something that was of slim design, not so big and could fit under the airplane seat with ease. This hits on all spots, while providing ample space for a laptop, ipad, sunglasses, phone, RFID pocket for security, etc. Note this does not have a bottle pocket but there is plenty of room inside if you really wanted to have one with you. Also wish it had a key ring inside for car keys. Could not be happier with the choice. I purchased the gray and brown. Very clean, updated styling.

Sleek, stylish and functional
So far, so love! Bought this bag for work travel. I wanted a lower profile bag that could still adequately carry a good amount of items. I fit my 15” laptop, notebook, iPad, laptop charger, file folder, charger cables, international bulky adapters all in the main compartment. The front bigger zipper area also has a nice amount of space with compartments for pens, glasses iPhone etc. the top, orange “checkpoint” compartment fits a passport and phone comfortably. The pictures are of the bag fully loaded. I read some reviews of uncomfortable straps— I did not find any problem. The only thing missing is a zip out water bottle holder (like I’ve seen in other B&R bags), but overall highly recommend.

A little stiff, but otherwise great
Some of the access areas are a little rough on your hands because of how stiff the access is, but other than that this is a great backpack that stands up on its own and is not too big. I would not recommend trying to use this for anything other than a work backpack, but it fits and works great for that purpose.

classy, unique
Plenty of room despite its apparent compact look. I travel and visit engineers and business folks. It's practical and fitting under plane seats and professional-looking at meetings. Good quality.

Perfect Lite weight Backpack
Love the orange lining where I stash the things that are in my pocket going through security at the airport. Tumi is a nicer looking bag but just not as comfortable to wear, not as lite weight and not as functional.

Superb!
Bought as a work bag for laptop, A4 Black n Red Wirebound book, charger and usual bits and pieces. Perfect in size, great design and the standard B&R excellent quality. For when I fly for work (regularly) this bag easily slips under the seat to become a second carry-on item and there is more than sufficient space for stuff such as a water bottle, sweater, Kindle, AirPods etc too so absolutely perfect for my needs. Over the past few years I’ve moved to B&R from Tumi as my now (very) old Tumi’s have started to need replacing and have to say I really am enjoying their products with this being the third in my collection. Whilst we are not yet at Tumi levels of longevity nothing suggests that the B&R’s will not give me many years of excellent service too, so highly recommended. Also delighted to have been able to get this at a fantastic discount on an Amazon offer which made the purchase a really easy decision!

Excellent quality and functionality
Had this for a while so decide to write a review. It is an excellent quality product, from fabric, trimmings to zip. The internal pockets are plenty for fitting different items. Slim silhouette but enough for a laptop, a few documents, stationary and accessories. Recommend for people wishing to have a stylish travel with essential items.
