Best sunscreen

I love this sunscreen. It doesn’t have a sticky feel once it dries. I never get sunburned when I wear it, which I know is a bold statement, but it’s true. I still get a really good and even tan though! As all zinc sunscreens leave a whitish hue on your skin, you have to use soap and a washcloth to get it off in the shower or it will just stay put. I used to be strictly a spray sunscreen girl because it was so easy and it was cheap, but after using this sunscreen, I will spend the money and buy Blue Lizard every single time. I live at the beach on the East Coast and used it on my whole body just about every day this summer, including reapplications at the beach, and I went through one entire bottle and about a third of another one. I used to go through so many cans of spray sunscreen each summer, I know I would buy the 2 or 3 packs multiple times during the summer, so this is honestly a steal, especially for what you get!

Amazing Water Resistance!

Took this on a trip the Cayman's - the main selling point was reef safe. After a lot of research, many sunscreens advertise reef safe but still contain chemicals that are actually not. This sunscreen is the real deal in this department. A little bit goes a long way and if you go too heavy to start it can take a while to work it this in. If you don't go too heavy out of gates, works in pretty easily and evenly. I was really impressed with how evenly I tanned and didn't burn! Went on a half day snorkeling excursion with one application. Spent nearly two hours in the water, hung out in the sun on the boat, and didn't burn one bit with only one application! Did a couple of half days by the pool and one beach snorkeling with the same results. Can't speak highly enough about how well this sunscreen protected me from burning and held up in the water! Fantastic! As a fun bonus the bottle turns blue in the presence of UV. Pretty much you're outside you're getting blasted so it's not all that helpful, but the bottle was fun to play with to see how blue it would get in the shade and elsewhere. My skin isn't particularly sensitive so I can't speak to that. I can say left my skin feeling a little oily - like a heavy lotion, but not gross. No issues breaking out or reactions or anything.

Works great

This works well. Brought to an island and needed this type of sunscreen. It is quite thick to spread, but very effective and safe for coral. I looked up. Several mineral sunscreens in this deserves a great reviews, and the price was much more reasonable than others.

If you don't mind looking like the Tin Man

Seems to work, but it certainly isn't clear. I wouldn't wear it in public, as it gives you a crazy metallic sheen. I'll wear it out on the farm maybe, but wouldn't be surprised to hear the cows humming the theme from Wizard of Oz... ????

Spreads evenly and low on EWG

Bought this for a recent cruise and wanted to continue to use something unscented, low on the EWG score , and easy to apply/spread. This really hit all the marks! I didn't burn at all in the Bahamas Sun. It is slightly more work to rub in that any conventional brand but it does rub in and not leave a white haze which was important. It also has no grease feel to it which was a huge plus! After swimming I did reapply just to be sure. I have light skin/freckles and used this on my face/scape/body.

works good

great sunscreen doesnt burn my eyes goes on somewhat thick but rubs in easy. i put it on every two hours since i work outside. I like it so much the only type im going to use going foward

Don't burn again

Blue Lizard is one of the best sunscreens I have found on the market. For me, average complexion, one application in the morning is all I need to be protected all day in and out of the water. I spend a week at the beach scuba diving in the morning and sitting by the pool in the afternoon and never burnt. The 30 spf allowed a little color, but I never felt overheated and my skin was protected all day. I have used the 50 spf on our son who is very fair complexion and he didn't burn.

It's not oily like other sun screens

My dermatologist recommended Blue Lizard to me. He gave a fue samples to try. I found after using it I did not have any sunburn or added skin damage from the sun. It helps a lot when you are in the sun for a long time. I also, use it to protect my scalp from the sun too. If yo are bald it's a must to Blue Lizard. What I like most about it is its not greasy or oily. Its a smooth cream that absorbs into your skin in a fue minents. It only takes just a little bit to go a long way to cover your exposed skin. If you use it sparingly your bottle will last a long time. It cost more than other sunscreens with Blue Lizard you recieve great protection for the money you pay or it could cost you more in Doctor Bill's if you dont use it to prevent skin cancer.
