Size wise this little coffee maker suits the purpose of being handy for just a couple cups of coffee. It takes up less space then other small coffee makers, is easy to clean and I really like the fact I don’t have to buy paper filters. Only slight drawback - not quite as flavorable coffee as what you can brew in a large 12 cup quality coffee maker.

Good little coffee pot

Bought this trying for a good cup of coffee when making only 2-3 cups. It is good. First pot I received, the on/off indicator light stopped working after 3 uses. Notified Amazon and replacement arrived in 2 days. New one is working fine. Like being able to see water level as I add to reservoir. Had to experiment to learn appropriate amounts of coffee and water, but now easy each morning. Prefer to use coffee filters rather than basket provided. Easy to clean.

Good basic coffee maker

Makes a quick hot batch of coffee. Relatively easy to clean. The only issue is that the "sneak a cup" feature leaks more often than not when the carafe is removed.

Pretty basic, but makes good coffee.

The coffee is good - no grounds. Okay to clean. I would prefer something that was a little less awkward to pour the water into. But, I am getting used to it. Note: you need the small basket style filters if you are not going to use the permanent filter.

Honestly for an inexpensive coffee maker I'm very impressed. In my area we have very hard water and I've replaced too many other coffee machines. I figured this one was inexpensive so I wouldn't feel bad if it went. However, all of my expectations were completely surpassed. This is the longest lastly coffee maker that I've owned (previously owned kcup style coffee makers) so granted I wouldn't be able to directly compare to other drip coffee makers. This unit is easy to use and my favorite part is how simple it is to clean without having to buy expensive solutions or go through a daylong process. I always buy freshly roasted beans and grind them right before brewing and the results have been excellent. My other method is making pour overs and this brewer doesn't quite get to that standard but it makes up for it in ease of use. One other thing to mention is that a lot of people that own coffee makers with a heating plate complain about is leaving the coffee on the plate for a bit will give it a burnt taste. This is something I haven't experienced with this coffee maker. There were times where I've turned the machine on and forgot only to remember 20 minutes later and it didn't taste burnt at all so extra credit there. Lastly I'll touch on the sneak a cup feature. Basically there is a spring loaded stopper that gets pushed up by the pot to allow the fluid in. As I learned when you pull out the pot it'll drip a bit and ends up on the warming plate and can be messy. Also, you only have a very short time to do this so have a cup ready before sneaking or else the chamber will fill up and the stopper will not hold that pressure. I got lucky once in that exact situation and as it started to stream out I was able to replace the pot to minimize the mess but just be aware. Overall definitely worth the money!

Small and perfect.

I didn’t read up on the size and was surprised at how small it was when it arrived. The price was in my budget and despite the size, the coffee maker works great, tastes great and brews coffee quickly so it doesn’t really bother me that I have to make two pots of coffee in the morning. I also love the small coffee filter it comes with. No more paper filters!

Fantastic little brewer!

Can't go wrong with this unit. Takes up half the room for my limited counter space. Brews 2+ large and delicious cups at a time. Which is usually about perfect. Easy to rinse and clean. No filters necessary! Can't go wrong. Way better, cheaper and more convenient than my kurieg. Takes slightly longer but does more at a time tastes better and costs a fraction per cup. Buy it! :)

3.25 cups volume - not 5. But great machine

I've been using this for about 2 weeks. The carafe is very nice, good shape, no spills. The top fits secure. Love the price point with also having a heat plate below - keeps it nice and hot. There is no shut off timer so it will stay on all day if you don't remember to turn it off. If the carafe is empty this will make the glass weaker - I wonder if the other reviews for the weak carafe is due to over heating. Love the fact that the strainer has a solid bottom (no holes) so all the grinds get wet and the water stream doesn't just pour through the middle of them. It says it is 5 cups... it is actually a 3.25 cup measurement.

Great price

This little coffee machine is the best for 1-2 people. It brews great coffee and take approx 5 minutes for a full pot. The mesh coffee filter is easy to remove and clean. It doesn't leak and is very simple to use. If you need something that is small and doesn't take up lots of counter space this machine will work. Also can't go wrong with paying $18 for this little guy. Very happy with my purchase
