Great but…
I literally went through the 5 stages of grief putting this thing together. not impossible but it took me and my bf a couple of hours to figure everything out. but I do love it! it’s just as pictured and quite sturdy. great quality! just be warned.

Looks 10 Assembly 3 ACK!
Visually the nightstand looks expensive and great. Baxton Studios mid-century modern reproductions are beautiful and a step above most of the other furniture makers (their competitors). It’s the assembly of the nightstand that’s daunting, a nightmare, and time-consuming. This is my second Baxton Studios purchase, and learned after the first, you MUST HAVE a powered screwdriver (not a drill!). You can buy one on Amazon for less than ten dollars (get the alkaline battery powered screwdriver), or at any big box retail store. You’ll use it over and over, and since many of the holes are not prepared for inserting a screw, your hands will thank you afterward. After 2/3rds of my way through I discovered the top piece was damaged, and I’ll deal with it for now. I don’t want to construct another nightstand anytime soon. It looks GREAT but it was a horror putting it together. Bottom line is that it looks terrific! If you can pay someone to put it together for you, DO IT. I’m happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

Good nightstand, get an electric screwdriver
When I purchased this product, I was a little hesitant due to the reviews claiming how difficult the assembly was. However, I liked the design so much I was willing to put in an extra amount of time in assembly. Before putting the nightstand together, I purchased an electric screwdriver (mentioned in another review) which only cost me $11 and 100% worth the price. Let me say, it would have been fine putting this together without one but having an electric screwdriver saved me a great deal of time and arm strength. There are parts of the nightstand that have no holes that you need to put screws into. I’m sure this would be difficult with a normal screwdriver. Otherwise, assembly was easy. I have built more difficult pieces of furniture. Don’t let the previous reviews scare you away from a very nice nightstand.

Assembly pains
I got this to act as under table storage for my studio. I’d have to say it’s pretty sturdy. A little lower to the ground than I would have expected for a nightstand though. One of the drawer tracks came without the holes for screws punched out, but luckily my grandfather in-law had the tools to drill them out. Also the parts aren’t marked very well, and there aren’t many guide holes for the screws during the assembly; but once you manage to assemble it it’s great!

I love it
A great night table, looks accent, looks beautiful and strong. Patience is the key to this table. It’s a task to assemble the parts. Took me approximately 3 hours to get the parts together. Overall, a great purchase. Looks amazing to me. Love the finish.

Cute buy!
This could’ve been labeled better. And the pictures more informative about the direction in which things need to be such as the drawer rails. But super cute and sturdy! I love it! I also ordered the large dresser which I’m currently putting together. I’d say the same for that as well as far as labeling and pictures.
