Truly Excellent Lotion, Terrible Pump

If you're concerned about ingredients you can't pronounce or skeptical about what hides behind labels such as "fragrance", this is one of the better skin lotions you can find. It leaves a luxurious feeling on the skin but is not greasy and I could barely detect any smell besides the natural ingredients. 12 hours after applying, my skin still feels nice and healthy, despite being very dry before application. Also, there was definitely nothing added to cover or mask unnatural or unwanted scents. I'm very pleased with this lotion! When it arrived, it was set in plastic on cardboard so it wouldn't bounce around inside the box and was undamaged or tampered with in any way. So as a consumer who has handled thousands of products and delivery systems over the years, I was a bit stymied when trying to dispense this lotion. The pump has an arrow the points to the direction to turn it to begin use. The trouble is, when you turn it that way, nothing happens... no really, nothing happens. The pump doesn't "pop up" like any other pump created by man for the last 25 years. There are many other reviews left about the pump and it was an issue for me... but it was the ONLY issue. Thankfully, you just need to pull and twist on it, and twist and pull on it some more until you think you might break it, and then you are close. After a few more pulls and twists, simply swear twice and pull once and it will pop up. Wonderful lotion, extremely poor pump! Still it's worth it. 4 stars because of the pump, everything else about the lotion is exactly what I wanted.

Been using for years

I’ve been using this lotion for over 10 years. Love it so much. It absorbs quickly and isn’t greasy. The scent is subtle and not over powering.

Exceeded my expectations

After reading other reviews about difficulty in releasing the pump, I was pleasantly delighted that it released without any problems. The scent is lovely and longlasting. As far as the lotion's moisturizing ability, it doesn't quite measure up to my usual go-to, Gold Bond. However, I am willing to trade off that point for the heavenly scent!

In trying to go with make the switch to an organic lotion, I bought this based on the reviews. I am very happy with it. No need to constantly apply as the softening effect sticks around. Very economical for the size of the bottle. A little goes along way.

Excellent product.

It was recommended to me by a trusted friend. It really has helped me with a bad skin flare up. I didn’t want to use steroids. So I’ve been using this cream and it’s truly helped soothe the soreness.

Clean ingredients, no perfume!

Good ingredients and unscented which I find difficult to find in stores. It is very hydrating, does not leave the skin sticky or greasy but definitely leaves a "film" on the skin for a long time. Would still buy again

Organic product with out parabens and toxic chemicals! Love this product and use it daily after showering. I have used a variety of other lotions but was searching for an organic one without parabens. This does the job and leaves me feeling hydrated and smelling nice (lavender) afterwards.
