EXCELLENT, but pricey

Easy to install and gives the boater seating flexibility. Seems a bit pricey, but I can be a little cheap.

Had several of these and the hydraulic lift does give out. I use mine a lot and it lasts about 8 yrs

This works well easy to lift and set down. My boat is setup for these and this is the only brand I’ve used

Don’t last long

I have bought two of these. Neither lasted a year. Function well until they don’t. First one lost ability to stay elevated then seat mount broke. Second had problem keeping bushing between bottom and rod to seat mounts seated. Had to hammer back in place a couple of times. Then it started to sink back down when I sat in it (lost “power”). Can’t find another manufacturer for similar product.

Nice post But....

The post works as it should no frills, whats missing is the infamous swivel stop screw, so you driving to the lake and all your seats are spinning like a top, it really deserves a 3, not a 4 but I only needed one, FIX IT. Nobody wants their seats spinning like tops on the lake or on the road.

Error in manufacturing

Had 3 of these for over 5 years and loved them. Just ordered 3 more for a different boat. All 3came in with the cylinder shaft not mounted to the upper base properly. It would wobble when you sat on the seat and separate if you lifted the seat up. Called Attwood customer service and they were very helpful. They said they would replace them. However, it was going to take a week or more to get replacements. I had to send them back and purchase another manufacture because I needed them for a fishing trip.

Gets me above my Xtreme bait tank.

Works perfectly to get the seat height above my bait tank. Up high when it's up front in my Tracker with the bait tank, down low in the back base to run down the lake. Swivels extremely smooth! Only thing that could make this better is if it had a lock to stop the rotation.

Attwood SP-37904 2" Wedge Extension Post

The product is exactly what I needed to replace my existing extension post. The dimensions were spot on. It was easy to install. I have yet to use it on the lake, but immediately upon installing it on my boat, I tested it out and am extremely happy with my purchase.
