Love! Love!

Actually very elegant looking considering it's metal. However, very pretty dark gray with coated surface. Love that mail goes in drops to lower compartment where you need key to open! Takes the stress of worrying about your mail being stolen away!!

Excellent box to prevent porch pirates!

Reaching your hands in the box to screw it in can be challenging, but once you're done with that, the box is pretty great! I get these for each rental unit, and tenants seem to appreciate the added security.

1st one arrived damaged - 2nd one looks fine. Doesn’t come with bolts to install

The media could not be loaded. Be sure to inspect/examine when you get this. Box was in fine condition, but mailbox was damaged. Dented on the top (which was small enough I could have ignored) We returned it because there was also a 2nd problem… the hinge on bottom door was damaged. Every time it opened and closed it would snap. It looks like they pinch the end so the rod doesn’t fall out. They pinched it so much you have to force it past the wide spot. I was disappointed that it doesn’t come with bolts & nuts to attach to our existing post & plate. We had the nuts welded onto the bottom of our old locking mailbox so we can’t use those. (Welded and used Locktite as our friend’s whole mailbox was removed and stolen.) We weren’t going to install this right away so I was glad I took it out of the box and checked it out so I could still exchange it. We’ve not installed it so I put 5 stars on ease of installation as it should be easy. I’ll alter review if it’s not.

Outgoing mail holder is too small

This is everything I wanted in a mailbox, but it only holds letter size envelopes in the outgoing slot. Couldn’t place a birthday card in it because it wouldn’t close

Outgoing flag installation problem

The hole pattern on the flag didn't match the threaded rods on the side of the mailbox. I had to enlarge the two holes by drilling them to a larger diameter. I suspect those who couldn't do this would return the entire package.
