Great product
I have been using this product for the past 5 years and cannot say enough good things about it. I have fish in my pond and I love the fact that it is safe for them. I live in an area of the country where I get a fair amount of algea and this,combined with a UV light clears my pond to crystal clear.

Read instructions carefully
First off, I was apprehensive but several reviews changed my mind. Unfortunately cannot access all banks of pond without a boat. It has been several weeks since treatment as there aren’t any signs of toxicity to any fish. This is a great product as once it is used as directed, the algae was immediately pushed towards the center of the pond where I was able to reach. Planning on purchasing several more as our pond contains 225,000 gallons of water as this summers heat has produced a wretched algae glaze that has killed half of fished. Installing an affordable aeration system this fall to hopefully contain next years algae and a healthier pond to aquatic life and fish.

So far I'm on the fence
I found I had a high phosphate problem in my pond. I added pond-zyme 2x and no change. It states to put around the sides. Maybe my pond sides don't have a place for the bacteria to build up. The directions don't really explain how it works.

AMAZING RESULTS!!!
I'm not a person who does reviews and I'm not receiving anything for this review. I have a 600 gallon pond with a weir and filter pads and pressurized biological filter with uvc light. My pond water was thick pea soup green and full of sludge. I knew I had fish but haven't been able to see them. I tried doing partial water changes, using algecide, rinsing filters and backwashing the system but still had pea soup and sludge. I started reading reviews for Pond-Zyme and debated buying it. I ordered it and figured I was probably wasting money but didn't know what else to do. I followed the start up directions and applied the initial dose. The next couple days I could see a slight improvement. Three days later I applied the second dose. It has only been 6 days and my water is clear and I can see the bottom of the pond. The best part is that I can see my fish happily swimming around. There is still some sludge around the sides and bottom but nothing like what was there. I feel the next two doses will eliminate that. This stuff is amazing! So glad I gave it a try and I'll continue to use it.

I have a 900 gallon goldfish pond. My filter has a UV light on it which kills a lot of the algae. I used 2 t per 200 gal of water every 2 weeks as a maintenance. I used 8-10 t per application. Works well for me. Getting ready to reorder.

Update- I didn't need to wait a few more days, my pond is now totally clear. Will keep using this along with the algaecide. Last year I found and used an algeacide that worked like a charm for my little backyard pond. It kept it free of algae all summer long, which was a first for me. It is starting to warm up, so I used my tried and true again and my pond kept getting progressively greener. It wasn't working at all. I drained my pond, refilled, then drained and refilled again and hit it hard with the algae control. Still looking terrible. I ordered this and put in the first dose. The first thing I noticed is this floats on the surface for a long time before it sinks and I was worried it wouldn't do much. That night we had a bad wind storm and one of my potted plants ended up in the pond. Great, even more mess. I netted out all the debris I could and figured I'd have to drain and refill this week. This morning I go out, and though all the algae isn't quite gone yet, it is much less so. The water is still a bit murky, but I can see the bottom. With the algae as bad as it was, then the wind storm, I figured it would be a total disaster and it isn't. I think due to this product. I removed and hosed out the filters and one thing I noticed is that the gunk in them is darker brown in color than usual. I think this is the waste and stuff coming out. I gave it a second dose today and hope that within the next few days it is back to normal. It is only going to get hotter, I need to control it now. Anyway, I think this works pretty well, with all the issues it is much clearer than I anticipated it being today. I will continue using and update my review.

great sludge gulper
I popped some of this in my pond a week ago and it went to work straight away. The water is crystal clear and I am beginning to see the actual liner of the pond. The addition of barley extract is an added bonus as it has halted the spread of the dreaded blanket weed. The fish seem to be unaffected in any way and it's a real pleasure to see them all the way to the bottom feeding. The amount in the container will be sufficient for quite some time and is good value for what I paid. Overall it's a great sludge gulper that works fast.

It Worked!
Pond had new pond syndrome (turned green soon after setup) For months I had tried other things and although some helped a little I was begining to think it was never going to clear. Used this and although nothing happened straight away, it has actually worked. Taken just over 3 weeks but pond is now clear. Looking forwards to actuly being able to watch the fish now.

Works brilliantly on algae sludge
I had algae sludge stuck around the pond weed which I couldn't remove without disturbing the wildlife (damsel fly eggs and baby newts) so I used Api Pond-Zyme scattered onto it twice a week for 2 weeks and it disappeared. I am delighted with the results.

The product arrived labelled sludge remover but as we had had so much trouble even finding Pond zyme plus in Britain we decided to give it a go anyway. It has certainly made made a difference to the pond weed accumulating but I wish I knew whether this is the same stuff we used previously ie pond zyme plus.
