Easiest to clean frying pan I have ever had.
These frying pans are durable, cook well, and are super easy to clean. You cannot put them in the dishwasher so it's nice that they clean up so easily.

Some of the best skillets ever.
Several years ago I purchased 2 of the small Anolon skillets. I used them constantly, Sometimes 3 times a day, ALL the time. They lasted forever. They would still be in use if hubby hadn't forgotten them in the oven, on the top rack, when he turned it on to high broil! Well, he has since passed on and it is now just me. I have full body arthritis and my trusty old, vintage cast iron skillets are just too much for me to handle. (I mean, they are great for some kinds of cooking!) My daughter has inherited them and loves them. (they were MY mother's, she started her marriage with them!) I have replaced them with the much easier to handle Anolon skillets. I love them. Easy for me to handle, easy to clean, and, will also wear like iron. I don't cook the way I used to but with these I can cook better, faster and much easier. In my opinion, the Anolon skillets are one of the much better brands of non-stick cookware out there. I'd recommend them to anyone. **Update** Unbelievable! I have to add this. I know I bragged about these skillets a while back, but even I am surprised at what happened yesterday. While preparing a spaghetti sauce in the midsize skillet, I put it on a med-low burner to simmer for a bit. Typical sauce, browned ground meat, onions, spices and some jarred sauce to help it along. I always add my own spices to enhance the flavor. No problemo, right? It wouldn't be if I hadn't gotten distracted. 3 hours later, mind you, 3 whole HOURS later, I was on my PC taking care of business when I noticed a faint aroma/odor. I suddenly remembered my sauce and got to the kitchen. Needless to say the sauce was beyond ruined. The entire batch was burnt beyond recognition, in my perfect Anolon skillet! Hating the idea that I would most likely have to ditch the skillet (let alone some costly ground meat and sauce) I turned the burner off and checked just how destroyed everything was. Yep, stuck beyond belief to the skillet. I let it cool off a bit, then took a spatula (figuring the finish was ruined anyway) and tried to chip it out. With just a couple of nudges with the spatula I noticed a little movement with the whole batch! Optical illusion most likely. Tried again. No illusion, the entire batch moved to the side! I wish I had thought to take a picture at least, video would have been better, but I didn't. I was so glad that apparently my skillet was not ruined I actually "wahooed"! LOL Just to make sure I cooked a couple eggs in it, sunny side up, and they slid around that skillet just like the commercials show! I am so beyond thrilled with Anolon right now, couldn't wait to post this edit to my original review. If you are trying to make up your mind about these skillets, please, I am speaking the absolute truth about these and after cooking for aver 70 years I can honestly say that these are the best non-stick finishes I have ever, EVER, found.

High quality for the price.
These are very nice! High quality for the price. Sure there are better pans out there, but for this price I would recommend getting them. My daughter bought them first, we used them at her house. We ordered them for ours and are very happy we did.

Sturdy and really non-stick
After burning the heck out of my old "non-stick" fry pan that had never really been non-stick, I checked Consumer Reports and headed to Amazon to see what I could find. The set with 10 & 12" pans was on sale so... I must say these pans really are non-stick right out of the box. I washed and dried then used them that night. They're perfectly delightful. When I can find the 8" pan, my 1970's Farberware 8" pan will be joining my 12" 1970's Farberware in the basement. Hey - they've been with me almost 50 years and are old friends. I cannot "dump" them but am giving them a retirement while I enjoy new, non-stick, no extra calories or fat added to my diet new pans.

New pan to old pan comparison
We have numerous Anolon pans some of which are probably 15+ years old. They've served us well but the 10" skillet gets the most use and the surface degraded over time. We always hand wash our pans, but we do cook with a lot of olive oil and butter which is probably more than recommended. While looking to replace the 10" pan, we found the 10"/12" combo. The 12" skillet seemed like a nice addition to the collection so we purchased the combo. We read some reviews that indicated that the new pans were not as well made, so I did a comparison on the old and new 10" skillet. The skillets look identical, but the old pan weighed 36 ounces while the new pan weighed 30 ounces. Clearly, some material has been taken out, but it's really hard to tell where. The base seems the same visually and the walls of the pan seem the same if holding them between your fingers. All that to say, yes, they're lighter, but does that mean they're "less well made"? It's hard to say at this point. We haven't used them yet and can't comment on heat distribution, cooking, etc., but I expect they'll be super easy to clean like the existing pans we have. We'll try to come back and comment on the cooking aspect after we've used them a few times. Historically, Anolon has been solid cookware for us, so we'd still recommend them at this point.

Manufacturer’s packaging damaged the product.
I had first ordered an 8 inch frying pan from this same brand that has been working great so I decided to purchase the 10 and 12 inch set as well. From the outside the pans looked great. Once I removed the packaging I found this circular mark that seems to have been formed by that inner cardboard circle rubbing against the pan . It was supposed to be protecting the pans from one another. I washed the pan several times and the mark did not come off so it is likely scratched. I tore off the packaging so I am unable to return the item.

fantastic pans
These are the best pans I have ever owned. Had them 2 years now. They haven't warped or flaked. I use them every day. The only pans that I have never had to use cooking spray on. Every other non stick pan I had needed oil to keep them from sticking. Im looking at buying more so I can throw out my other pans.

Quality non-stick
Pans heat evenly and cleanup is a breeze. Good quality. Slight dent in rim of large pan on arrival but does not affect cooking.

Esta bueno
Los sartenes están bien construidos. El recubrimiento anti adherente no es teflon y no es tan eficiente. Pero como al teflon lo han ligado a causantes de cancer debido a los desechos que suelta cuando se deja a alta temperatura (ojo nunca quemar sus sartenes de teflon) pues han salido varias alternativas en el mercado. La pintura de cobre se raya fácilmente pero fuera de éso están excelentes.

El mango del sarten es muy pesado y le resta estabilidad al sarten.
