Perfect REplacement.

Exact measurement for 2 of our dogs. Replacement for a broken cheap plastic scoop we recently bought, and broke. I need to find a 3/4 cup scoop just like this for our small dog.

So great!

I have a dog that gets one and a half cups of dry food twice a day. You wouldn't think a silly 1 1/2 cup measurement would be a big deal, but it is ridiculously awesome to just use this scoop, not over or under measure. It's the little things in life.

Great scoop for dog food

Closer to 1 3/4 cup, slightly dented

In theory, this is a great product, it would be nice to own a sturdy metal 1.5 cup measure. I measured the volume of this scoop, and it’s closer to 1 and 3/4 cups, (it holds 13.6 ounces of water, instead of 12 ounces as I would expect). Yes, I did tare the scale. It had a small dented area on the rim, which at first I thought was for pouring, but it isn’t deepest enough for that. I am uncertain how well the weld on the handle will hold up, as it doesn’t look overly sturdy. But for now, it will serve as a dog food scoop. Accurate enough for that.

Suitable for measuring dog food

Because we were concerned that our dog wasn't getting consistent amounts of food each meal whenever our kids fed our dog, we wanted 1 measuring cup to keep things simple and easy for our kids to dispense a correct portion size each meal. Our dog has allergies, so we wanted a stainless steel cup. My husband measured 1 1/2 cups in our regular measuring cups and found them to be equal to this measuring cup. The handle is plain metal and would have preferred a sturdy rubber gripped handle, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Dog Food Scoop

Best dog food scoop ever! Those cheap plastic ones don't hold a candle to this. Makes it easier for the kids to pitch in too, which was the whole point. The plastic ones and the measurement lines are not user friendly for young children

Sturdy!

I was afraid that this might be flimsy and easily damaged, but it is surprisingly sturdy! The handle is well attached and the scoop itself is thick and unbendable. I am impressed!

Perfect for what I needed it for. I can get my dogs portion of food in one go and know he’s getting the correct amount of food.
