The Pajama Pantheon - The Ultimate WFH Fashion Statement
It's often been said that necessity is the mother of invention, but in the case of the pandemic-born 'work-from-home' culture, necessity has rather been the mother of a fashion revolution. Allow me to introduce you to the game-changing sartorial sensation – Pajama Pants, or as I affectionately call them, my Zoom-call compatible 'professional leisurewear'. These aren't just any pajama pants, folks. These are the Mercedes-Benz of lounge wear, the caviar of casual, the high-roller of home-wear. They are the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, where style unapologetically marries laziness. They're so comfortable that I'm half convinced they were woven by cherubs from clouds and the soft whispers of lullabies. Let's talk about their Zoom-ability, the real selling point in our brave new world of WFH. With a suitably positioned camera, colleagues remain none the wiser about your cotton-clad lower half. You can smoothly transition from a crucial business meeting to a Netflix marathon without needing to change your trousers. Now that's what I call productivity! These pants are versatile too. I may be crazy but they seem to double as a Wi-Fi signal on my more imaginative (or delirious from lack of human contact) days. The drawstring, while ostensibly for adjustability, has also functioned as an emergency cat toy during unexpected feline invasions of the home office. Moreover, the pockets, ah, the pockets! They are the Mary Poppins' bags of loungewear. Roomy enough to hold your phone, snacks, the TV remote, existential dread, and that sense of smug satisfaction when your boss compliments your 'dedication to professional attire' during video calls. The only downside I've encountered so far is a mild identity crisis. Some mornings I look in the mirror and wonder: am I a professional adult contributing to society, or a sloth cleverly disguised as a human? But then I shrug, adjust my tie (yes, with the pajama pants), and log into my first Zoom meeting of the day. In conclusion, these pajama pants have provided solace in these trying times, helped me maintain an illusion of professionalism, and inadvertently improved my work-life balance. If you, like me, value the ability to look business-ready from the waist up while indulging in decadent comfort from the waist down, these are the pants for you. Work from home never looked (or felt) so good!

Super breathable 100% cotton.
I love these pajamas. I have several pairs and had to order several more because I shrunk, wasted away from cancer actually. These pajamas breathe like cotton percale sheets and they become very soft over time. I have seen people complain about how these pajamas aren’t soft. They’re not extremely soft after the first washing. They have to be broken in. They aren’t terrible after the first wash. They’re better after the second and every other wash. If you are looking for light comfortable breathable pajamas, these are a great option. I’m about 5’7”. When I was heavier, 155 to 170+, medium was great. I sometimes roll the waist band over because they were a little bit long and the mediums are much baggier than the smalls. At 128 to 145 for me at least small is fine, but I’m skin and bones now. Your mileage may vary. There’s a fair amount of room in them but the smalls are less loose in the waist and everywhere else. I have some solid grey ones I actually wore to mow my lawn and do other yard work today. They’re so much cooler than jeans on a hot day and they look like pants. With the chemo I do I’m supposed to avoid getting a lot of sun so shorts are out. I wouldn’t wear them to the store or anything where I’d be really close to people but I don’t care what my neighbors think and definitely from a distance they just look like some kind of pants, and any little breeze blows right through them. They’re wonderful outside. Now if they would just do one in khaki because light gray gets super dark when it gets wet. The plaid pattern is dead give away that they’re pajamas though. Not wearing those outside.

Decent for the Price
I ordered these pajamas instead of the polo brand I usually buy. The pricing is very good. The quality is decent for the price. I am 6‘3“ and have a 36 inch waist, they do not have enough elastic around the waist to hold up without tightening the drawstring quite a bit, which makes them not easy to pull on or off.

Fits as expected.
These are made with good quality cotton material. They are not stretchy or loosely woven, which I really like. They fit comfortably in waist, hips and legs than expected. Length was just fine. I bought two pair from the same Amazon entry. The solid gray pair was great. The black and white plaid pair was much larger even though same size and from the same listing.

Smaller them ones purchased last year
I purchased one over a year ago and found them to be very nice and not expensive. Purchased 2 additional ones last week BUT they are smaller then they were last year. So if you want a XXL you might try a XXXL. Guess everyone is cutting cost.

This is a cotton pajama not polyester one!!
If you buying a pajama for comfort and softness just like me you need to have cotton pajama rather than the one polyester or mix (% cotton + % polyester). I found out this to be very reasonably priced and 100% cotton!! This is very comfortable to wear all night. It might shrink after first wash as expected from cotton clothes but I found out the shrinkage to be very little so overall size was still perfect for me!!

A little bit longer than expected
Simple, comfortable pajama pants. Legs are a relatively long, and some can consider it a little bit too see-throigh. Overall, good purchase for the price.

4 months in and no tears/holes/frays
I was hesitant after seeing other reviewers saying theirs tore or frayed almost immediately. I wear mine all around the house all day and they’re wonderful. No signs of wear yet 4 months in. People complain about them feeling like paper- that’s sort of the point for me. I really hate wooly or microfiber type PJs between my allergies with the little fibers getting everywhere and the material shocking me every 0.2 seconds it’s impossible to get comfy. These don’t have that problem- they’re light, don’t leave little fibers everywhere, they don’t shock you every time you take a step, and they definitely get softer with every washing cycle. They don’t bleed in the washer and don’t shrink or hold static in the dryer. Very happy (and comfy) with these.

A little bit low cut
It seems that people often review things after having them only a brief period, but I have had these pajamas for many months before I decided to write this review so I could break them in and really give them a test. Here is my final weigh in. Being 100% cotton, they are mostly comfortable. My main complaint is that they are a little bit low cut, at least on me, and don't sit on the waist as well as I would like. For the price point and choice of many patterns though, I am happy with them. They have also held up well through many wash cycles thus far.

Very dissatisfied
This pajama was used. The previous owners credit card was in its pocket

Really very roomy
Love these - they're the best pair of loungepants I've brought in the last 7 or 8 years. I used to have a pair similar to these that i loved but can never find the similar pattern or comfort since, until I brought these. The only downside is I had to turn them up slightly as though I'm a tall bloke with a 32" inside leg, they were quite long, but I wouldn't replace these as they are the best I've brought for a long time.

Excellent!
I'm really pleasantly surprised with these – they're well made, great quality and on the roomy side. They're pretty much exactly like a pair I bought from Gap, only the ones from Gap don't have pockets and were twice the price – lesson learnt. I'll be back for more when/if these wear out. Would highly recommend.

Amazon essentials clothes are brilliant
Great quality for this price and the fit is excellent. I’ve started favouring Amazon essentials for clothes over all other brands. They were just a bit long so had to have them altered. They really should make them in various lengths like they do for trousers
