Looks great but Serious Design Defect and Ugly Wingnut

While I really like the overall look of this lamp, it has a very serious and obvious design defect. There is a wing nut that attaches the bulb and shade to the base. It would have been very easy to design that to be recessed into the lamp. However, some idiot allowed it through the design approval process and proceeded to manufacture it with the wing nut showing. It is quite obvious and ugly from the side. I feel especially misled and cheated by manufacturer Adesso because it's obvious that they intentionally took pictures that obscured and hid the wing nug from view. See how obvious it is in the attached picture that I took.

Not Worth the Headache or Money

First of all, for the price, the quality is EXTREMELY POOR. Also, I had a TERRIBLE time trying to assemble it. The screws on one of the 3 legs did not fit the base. It was extremely tight. As I tried to unscrew it the anchor came out and I was unable to separate the base from the leg of the lamp, leaving me unable to try using a new screw (it doesn't come with extra, so I had to find one). I figured out a way to separate the screw from the anchor and try a different screw, but because I couldn't replace the anchor so, I tried using a different kind of screw. It seemed to work, but then I noticed the the top of there was a gap in the top of the leg. I called Amaon customer service twice and they never followed through to help me return it, return in or get a replacement leg. Therefore, I used wood glue to fill in the gap. I'm guessing because the base no longer had an anchor the screw came out again. I'm going to try finding a screw that works rather than trying to return it because honestly, I'm tired of trying to get customer service to help me and I don't want to deal with trying to repackage everything and shipping it back. Hopefully, I can figure out something that will work.
