May need to size down; XL unexpectedly loose

I've been wearing 2(X)IST's Stretch Cotton No-Show Briefs for a while now and thought I'd try their trunks. Checked and double-checked the sizing on both Amazon and the manufacturer's site and it should have been the same size as the briefs, but they do not fit well; too large. Probably should have ordered down a size, which is frustrating in part because according to the size charts I ought to be at the very high end of XL—XL should not be loose on me. Otherwise, quality seems fine. I'll wear them for a while, it's just weird how baggy and loose they are, especially when the same size briefs are a perfect fit.

Waist band fail

I have worn a few different styles of 2(x)ist underwear over the years. every single one of them have been agreat fit when I got them but after a few washes the waist band stretches out and the underwear become useless. No more 2(x)ist for me.

Disappointed. Quality gone downhill

Bought these last year and the year before and thought they were the best fitting underwear. Bought more about 2 weeks ago and they are garbage. Around 10/15/2018. The ones I received a few weeks ago are made completely different. The material is maybe half as thick or strong. The elastics broke after 1 wash. Just another example of a clothing company trying to cut corners for profits. Lost me as a customer forever. They also sell them under the name Evolve at dept stores. I’ll make sure I never buy any product from them under any name they are associated with.
