Great household product that is well priced here
Long story, but I encountered Borax as a kid 50 years ago as a powder dispensed in school bathrooms to wash your hands with. Fifty years later, it turned up as the "word of the day" while playing WORDLE. I checked here to see if you could still buy it and spent about $10 to get a 1.5 pound bag to see how well it worked on cleaning tasks. Answer is very well - my stainless steel sink bottom came absolutely clean, as did the interior of my dishwasher after I ran it empty with a scoop of powder in it. It really does make you laundry come out cleaner and softer (I have pretty hard water) and without any odor at all. I scrubbed porcelain sinks with it, along with my bathtub and they look brand new. Finally (to use up my 1.5 lb bag), I used it to clean a throw rug on which a good amount of spaghetti (with sauce) had been dropped. I wet the rug, put borax on, let it sit, then scrubbed a bit, and then toweled it dry. I then poured borax on the rug and let it sit overnight before vacuuming the borax and whatever it picked up - rug is clean and without odor. Anyway, having found lots of use for my 1.5 pound bag bought for $10, I saw that you could buy 4 boxes of borax, each with 4 pounds here for not much than $20 -- A great deal for a product that really does good things. Highly recommended!

Good product
Glad to finally get this to add to my laundry. I use minimal detergent I can get away with so I am glad for this extra boost of clean to add to laundry. I have a front loader for over 6 months and although I follow the instructions to wipe down and leave door open to avoid any damp smell, It still smells a bit after each load but not anymore with the added borax. In addition to my clothes seeming softer, lighter and a bit brighter, the inside of my washer actually smells like nothing, which is a bonus! Four stars only because the boxes were placed upside down in a box that was placed right side up within that box and there was detergent leaking and on my counter when pulled out one of the boxes. Only pulled out one box so not sure if the others leaked also or just that one but one was enough to downgrade since I read in reviews this was a known issue on some occasions.

Great Soaker for stains
I use Borax to clean my husband's hats. He's in construction and wears his hats all the time so they get grimy and dirty. Works wonders to get his work grime off his hats.

It really does add to the power of whatever detergent you’re using. Discoloration that happens over time plus difficult stains are removed. And it can be used with colors or whites.

Gets the job done
I make my laundry soap. And this is a big part. Ladies and gents if your husband is a mechanic this helps gets grease stains out like it’s nothing!

Great value, great price
I love this product and I am pleased for the value. The only downside was that some of my boxes came clumped up or hardened, as if they had gotten moisture in them. Otherwise, the product is great

I love how this borax helps with my laundry. It's great to buy it in the case and have it brought to the door, that way, it's cheaper, free delivery with Amazon Prime, and I can reorder from home. No more forgetting it at the store.

Good!
I love this natural freshener! I tried buying it at the local Lowes where I shop and they were out of it close to about 6 months or more! I decided to shop for it on Amazon because they, practically have everything! Was pleased that it arrived on time! I use it every time that I wash and I am so very very pleased with this product that I will be purchasing more!!!!

Producto mal empacado. Desastre
La aplicación no me permite subir foto pero igual envío la reseña. El producto ya es conocido, sobre eso no tengo queja. El problema es que lo empacaron de la peor manera posible: las 4 cajas apiladas dentro de una caja apenas más grande y sin más protección que una hoja de papel. Obviamente las cajas llegaron maltratadas, dos de ellas rotas y el producto derramado hasta fuera del empaque plástico. Decepcionante porque no salió nada barato.

Eliminate odors in dishwasher
Add about 2 tablespoons to each wash in each dish drawer. We have a double drawer. Also use to make ant killer. Did it’s job!
